Content is intended to publish technical analysis, not opinion, and prioritize regulatory
alignment, operational integrity, and industry-wide advancement for hazardous locations.

The purpose of this Governance and Content Review Policy is to ensure that all materials
published on this platform:

  • Are technically accurate and evidence-based
  • Maintain industry neutrality
  • Avoid promotional bias or competitive positioning
  • Contribute constructively to knowledge transfer across hazardous work environments
  • Distinguish clearly between factual analysis and interpretive commentary

opinion forum, or competitive battleground.

Editorial Principles

All published content is intended to adhere to the following principles:

Industry Agnosticism – Content should be applicable across varied hazardous work
environments where possible (e.g., oil & gas, chemicals, mining, energy, agriculture,
manufacturing). Sector-specific examples are encouraged, with consideration to not exclude
broader applicability.

Evidence-Based Content – Submissions must:

  • Reference applicable standards, regulations, or technical documentation where relevant
  • Cite data sources for studies or performance claims
  • Distinguish clearly between measured results and inferred conclusions

Neutrality & Non-Promotion – The platform does not publish:

  • Product promotions
  • Vendor comparisons framed as competitive positioning
  • Sales-driven case studies
  • Opinion columns advocating for specific brands or commercial interests
  • Mentions of specific technologies or manufacturers must be contextual, technically relevant, and non-promotional in tone

No Opinion-Only Submissions – Opinion-based articles are not accepted unless:

  • Clearly labeled as “Technical Commentary”
  • Supported by data, regulatory reference, or operational evidence
  • Focused on advancing understanding rather than persuasion

Acceptable Content Categories – The following types of content are eligible for submission:

  • White Papers (technical and research-based)
  • Regulatory Interpretations (citing primary sources)
  • Technical Standards Analysis
  • Operational Deployment Case Studies (non-promotional)
  • Lessons Learned (incident-based, anonymized where required)
  • Comparative Technical Frameworks (non-commercial)
  • Emerging Technology Assessments (fact-based)

Prohibited Content – The following will not be published:

  • Marketing materials or product brochures
